Who is a knowledgeable novice? Someone who is the most prone to bias and over-enthusiastic claims. Being fascinated by a topic makes it easy to think of oneself as an expert. After reading many papers, throwing fancy words out there is tempting but a dead end. It can do more harm than good without a deep understanding, especially regarding such delicate matters as the human future.
The privilege of learning cutting-edge science in combination with actual life application from the Longevity Medicine 101 course by Alex Zhavoronkov, Evelyne Yehudit Bischof, MD, PhD, MPH, Alexey Moskalev and Morten Scheibye-Knudsen humbled me and made me hungry for more. I’m dedicated to expanding my knowledge and skills in healthy longevity. I am very eager to make an impact on the field, but with each new concept I learn, I realize how long the path in front of me is.
Thank you for the beautiful journey of getting deep into the science behind longevity medicine. I boarded the ship with you. I’m excited about each wave and storm and finally seeing our desired island of longevity medicine in everyday practice.
